Andaz Tokyo hotel with a contemporary urban design, occupies the top six floors of the new 52-story Toranomon Hills tower in Tokyo. The dramatic art-filled lobby and the modern, organic, Japanese-accented interiors represent the combined handiwork of designers Tony Chi of New York and Shinichiro Ogata of Tokyo. Situated in a quite business district between Shimbashi and Roppongi, it’s close to some the city’s beautiful parks, shopping arcades and heritage sites.
Spread out within 47-50 floors of the Toranomon Hills tower, Andaz Tokyo has 164 spacious guestrooms, including eight suites. All are spacious is size with a clean and contemporary design rooted in natural Japanese aesthetics. The bathrooms are spacious and come with a separate sunken bath tub and a large dressing area. With oversized floor-to-ceiling windows stretching right across the curved walls, you will have views out to the city, the bay or the Tokyo Tower.
Dining options at the Andaz Tokyo are equally inspiring, all of which make use of the skyline landscape. Andaz Tavern serves up simple European provincial dishes or you can eat at the Sushi’s eight-seat counter serving an omakase-style menu. In the surrounds is the high-end shopping district of Ginza, the Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace. After a day of sight-seeing, unwind in one of the hot tubs before enjoying a signature cocktail on the rooftop bar.

Stay Andaz Tokyo features 164 rooms and suites. All are spacious with lead-in Andaz Room starting at 50 sqm and incorporate Japanese tradition of natural materials and partitions to customize the space based on personal style. Moss-coloured carpeting is reminiscent of a Zen garden and comfortable low beds face large glass windows, with views of Tokyo Tower. Bathrooms are wooden enclaves with deep soaking bathtubs inspired by Japanese bath culture.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Andaz Tokyo. There are interconnecting rooms for families and the restaurants are considerate with children’s menu. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.
Dine The Andaz Tavern, on the 51st floor is the main restaurant at the Andaz Tokyo hotel, serving refined European provincial cuisine, infused with seasonal Japanese flavours. At the Sushi, master Sushi chefs skilfully prepare an “omakase-style” menu in an intimate setting resembling a dimly lit Japanese tea room. For light snacks, burgers and local draught beer hit the BeBu on the ground floor or take a lift up to the Rooftop Bar with indoor and open-air seating for a cocktail.
Relax There are a range of fantastic facilities available at the Andaz Tokyo, including the AO Spa & Club that spans over 1,350 square metres. Overlooking the Imperial Palace, the Spa features five spa treatment suites and a full range of advanced fitness training equipment. Relax in the hot tubs, sauna or steam rooms, or swim lengths in the 20-metre swimming pool with a unique carbonated pool and floating jet pool, all are perfect to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Experience Situated with the Ginza district, south of the imperial palace, The Andaz Tokyo is perfectly situated for exploring all this capital city has to offer. To the west is Tokyo's most famous Shinto Meiji Shrine set between the green Yoyogi Park and the most beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. One day, visit the world's largest, Tsukiji Fish Market famous for its 5 am. live tuna auctions, then try to catch an early-morning training session at a beya, or sumo stable.

Getting there Toranomon Metro station is just a 10 minute walk away and Tokyo Railway station is about 10 minutes away by car.
When to go You can visit Tokyo at any time of year, although the summer, from June to August, can be very hot and humid, and winter can be a little chilly. For the rest of Japan, Spring brings pleasant, warm days, and early April is a good time to view the cherry blossoms. Autumn brings dramatic foliage season, when the parks and green areas of the city mellow into varying hues of orange and red.
