Ritz Carlton Tokyo is a luxury 5-star hotel, set in the Roppongi district, in Tokyo. Occupying the top nine floors and the first three levels of the 53-storey Midtown Tower, the tallest building in Tokyo, the hotel features 360-degree panoramic vistas of the city including Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji. Situated in the heart of Roppongi, Tokyo's affluent neighbourhood and famous for its nightlife, the hotel is close to some of Tokyo's most well-known art museums, best restaurants and bars.

Accommodation at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo comprises of 248 guestrooms and suites, with contemporary interiors designed by renowned interior decorator Frank Nicholson. The Club Level rooms are larger and give you a dedicated concierge. Plus, you get access to the Club lounge, which sits on the top floor of the hotel. To reflect the destination, book the Japanese Carlton Suite, which has two rooms lined with tatami mats, traditional shoji doors and Japanese-style futon bed.

Dining options include two Michelin-star restaurants including Hinokizaka which maintains separate dining areas for each of its Japanese specialties but try a private dinner in its more than 100-year-old Japanese teahouse. The 2,000 sqm ESPA Spa on the 46th-floor and a 20-meter pool with panoramic views is sure to provide total escapism. Situated in Roppongi, the vibrant heart of downtown Tokyo, and Roppongi station, it makes an ideal base to explore this fascinating city and beyond.

Stay Ritz Carlton Tokyo features 248 rooms and suites, spread out between 47 and 53 floors. With the lead-in Deluxe Room starting at 52 sqm, these are among the largest hotel rooms in the city. All are luxurious, air-conditioned and elegantly decorated. The stunning suites are pointedly Japanese. Two separate rooms are both sumptuous with tatami mat floors, sliding Shoji doors, wood-panelled ceilings, and artisan textiles made in Kyoto. With luck, your bathtub might overlook Tokyo Tower.

ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo. All rooms can accommodate and extra bed but for more space connecting rooms are available. Rollaway beds, baby cribs, and babysitting service is available, upon request.  

Dine The Ritz Carlton Tokyo hotel has five full-service dining venues, including two Michelin-star restaurants; Azure 45, the hotel’s acclaimed modern French restaurant and Hinokizaka, featuring Kaiseki, Sushi, Tempura and Teppanyaki with contemporary Japanese cuisine. An exciting addition to Tokyo’s rich culinary scene, Towers is a contemporary grill restaurant and La Boutique Chocolates & Pastries on the 45th floor. The hotel also boasts an authentic 200-year-old Japanese tea-house.

Relax Situated on the 46th floor of the Ritz Carlton Tokyo is a 2,000sqm Spa & Fitness Centre by ESPA, offering an indoor pool, dry sauna, steam sauna, nine spa treatment rooms, one spa suite, and a fitness studio. Providing spectacular panoramic views, it offers guests the ultimate pampering, rejuvenation and restorative experience in a tranquil sanctuary. There is a 20-meter indoor pool for laps and a well-equipped fitness centre. 

Experience The Roppongi District is home to foreign embassies and teeming with trendy food, fashion and upscale shopping. Situated around the corner from Ritz Carlton Tokyo is the Suntory Art Museum, showcasing the best of Japanese art and where traditional Japanese Tea Ceremonies are held every Thursday. A short walk away is the National Art Centre and further north World's first public run Omiya Bonsai Museum with more than 100 bonsai masterpieces, all worth visiting.
 


 

Location Ritz Carlton Tokyo is located in Roppongi, an affluent district of downtown Tokyo. The hotel itself is located in the Midtown Tower.

Getting there Fly into Tokyo's International Airport-Haneda. From there the hotel is a 45-minute drive.

When to go You can visit Tokyo at any time of year, although the summer, from June to August, can be very hot and humid, and winter can be a little chilly. For the rest of Japan, Spring brings pleasant, warm days, and early April is a good time to view the cherry blossoms. Autumn brings dramatic foliage season, when the parks and green areas of the city mellow into varying hues of orange and red.
