Borobudur

You arrive in Yogyakarta, the cultural heart of Java. You’ll be transferred to Amanjiwo, a peaceful and beautiful resort with stunning views of Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This luxurious property is surrounded by Indonesia's rice fields and hills, offering a perfect introduction to the country's diverse landscapes. The area is known for its rich natural environment, with lush greenery and wildlife, as well as traditional villages that provide an authentic glimpse into local customs and rural life. The design of the resort is inspired by the temples and ancient architecture nearby. After check in, relax and enjoy the surroundings. You can unwind by the pool, have a spa treatment or just rest after your journey. Your evening is at leisure, setting the tone for the days ahead.

DAY 2

Borobudur

Rise early for a magical sunrise visit to Borobudur, the world's largest Buddhist temple. As the mist lifts, warm light spills across the ancient stone carvings and Buddha statues. It’s a peaceful and spiritual experience. After breakfast at Amanjiwo, visit Candirejo Village, one of the traditional villages of central Java. Here, you can experience authentic local life and witness daily traditions that have been preserved for generations. Explore the village by andong (a traditional horse-drawn carriage), passing quiet lanes and farms, or opt for a scenic bike ride through the surrounding paddy fields for a closer look at rural life. Meet the locals and learn about their way of life, from growing crops to preparing traditional food. It’s a deeper connection to Javanese culture, far from the tourist crowds. Back to the resort in the evening.

DAY 3

Borobudur

Today, you’ll travel to Yogyakarta city for a full day of cultural exploration. Start at the Sultan's Palace (Keraton), where elegant halls and courtyards reveal royal life and Javanese traditions. Then to Taman Sari, once a royal garden with bathing pools and underground tunnels. In the afternoon, visit the Prambanan Temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring a group of towering Hindu temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. The architecture is stunning and full of legend. Throughout the day, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Yogyakarta, from traditional performances to lively local markets. If time allows, you may also visit Yogyakarta’s modern art galleries and creative spaces before back to Amanjiwo for a peaceful night.

DAY 4

Ubud

After breakfast, fly to Bali and continue your journey to Ubud, located in Bali’s cultural heartland. Surrounded by jungle, rice terraces and river valleys, Ubud is known for its artistic soul, spiritual energy, and lush natural environment. This area offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Balinese culture and experience the island's vibrant culture through traditional performances, local markets, and art galleries. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the calm atmosphere. You can walk around the nearby streets with galleries and cafes or just relax and enjoy the view. Listen to the gamelan music in the background or take a stroll around the local village. The slower pace of life here allows you to fully absorb the beauty of Bali.

DAY 5

Ubud

Start the day with a white-water rafting experience on the Ayung River. Paddle through gentle rapids and enjoy the jungle, hidden shrines and carved riverbanks along the way. After lunch, visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud. Walk among the trees and temple ruins while observing the mischievous monkeys that live in the forest. This protected area is a blend of wildlife, culture and spirituality, and offers a unique opportunity to explore Bali's natural environment. End the day at Ubud Market where you can shop for local crafts, textiles and souvenirs, and experience local culture through traditional arts and interactions with artisans. Back to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 6

Ubud

Today, drive to the Balinese countryside to visit the famous Tegalalang rice terraces. Stop to admire the layered green fields, surrounded by Bali's lush natural environment, and meet the farmers tending their crops. Then to Sebatu Village, one of the traditional villages where you’ll visit a local art workshop and try your hand at wood carving or painting, gaining insight into authentic Balinese culture. At Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, participate in a Balinese purification ritual with a holy spring water bath. This gentle experience is believed to cleanse body and soul. Later in the day, take a peaceful walk along a mountain ridge trail, enjoying the pristine natural environment as the sun sets over the landscape.

DAY 7

KALONG ISLAND

Fly to Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores where your private yacht awaits. Choose from a traditional phinisi or a modern vessel for your journey through the Komodo archipelago, and begin your adventure exploring Komodo National Park, a renowned national park known for its unique wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Set sail to Kalong Island, famous for its thousands of flying foxes. As the boat glides through the calm waters, you'll be surrounded by stunning landscapes and turquoise waters that define this remarkable region. Enjoy lunch and relax on deck. As the sun sets, watch the sky fill with bats flying across the horizon – a natural wonder. Dinner under the stars on your yacht as you anchor near the island for the night.

DAY 8

RINCA ISLAND

After breakfast on board, arrive at Rinca Island to see the Komodo dragons up close. With a park ranger, walk through their habitat and learn about these incredible creatures. You may also spot wild deer, buffalo and exotic birds. After the walk, return to the yacht for lunch and sail to Padar Island. Spend the afternoon exploring vibrant coral reefs and enjoy snorkelling in the clear waters, relaxing on beautiful beaches, or just unwinding. Climb to a viewpoint for a stunning panorama of Padar’s three coloured bays. As the evening falls, enjoy drinks on the beach before returning to your yacht to rest.

DAY 9

GILI LAWA DARAT

Today, sail to Karang Makassar, also known as Manta Point. This is one of the best places in Indonesia to snorkel with manta rays. Swim alongside these gentle giants and see vibrant coral reefs, colourful coral, turtles and tropical fish. After this experience, sail to the peaceful island of Gili Lawa Darat. In the late afternoon, take a short hike to a viewpoint overlooking the stunning landscapes and turquoise waters of the sea and surrounding islands. Watch the sunset from above before returning to your yacht. This day is a mix of excitement and serenity – marine wonder and island tranquillity.

DAY 10

Manggis

Start your last day in Komodo with a snorkel session around Gili Lawa Darat, exploring the vibrant marine life of Komodo National Park, a protected national park known for its unique wildlife and stunning underwater scenery. After lunch, sail back to Labuan Bajo and fly back to Bali. From the airport, you’ll be transferred to Amankila, a serene resort on Bali’s east coast. Nestled between mountains and sea, Amankila offers luxury, beautiful beaches, and stunning views of the Bali Sea. Check in and relax – the rest of the day is yours to enjoy the spa, tiered pools or just the breeze. It’s the perfect retreat after your sea adventure.

DAY 11

Manggis

Set off for a bike ride through East Bali’s countryside. Start in Iseh Village, ride through rice fields, jungle, and volcanic valleys with Mount Agung in the distance, and experience the region's diverse natural environment. Continue to Sibetan Village, where you can explore traditional villages and join local farmers in picking snakeskin fruit, a local specialty. Learn about traditional rice wine production before ending the ride at Prasi Beach. Relax on the white sand beaches or take a swim in the gentle surf. Framed by forested hills and peaceful villages, the beach is the perfect spot to reflect on the day’s discoveries before returning to Amankila in the evening.

DAY 12

Manggis

Start the day with a visit to Lempuyang Temple, home to Bali’s famous “Gateway to Heaven.” This temple is an important site in Balinese culture, known for its spiritual significance and rituals. Climb through the temples for a view of Mount Agung framed by the stone gates. Then head to Taman Ujung, a former royal palace with gardens, bridges, and reflecting pools. The mix of Balinese and European architecture is interesting to see, and the palace is surrounded by a lush natural environment that showcases Bali’s scenic beauty. After lunch, visit Tirta Gangga, a water palace with fountains, sacred ponds, and statues. You can walk across the stepping stones in the water gardens, a peaceful end to your Bali adventure. For those interested in exploring more of Bali’s spiritual heritage, consider visiting Besakih Temple, the island’s largest and most important Hindu temple complex, located on the slopes of Mount Agung.

DENPASAR - DEPARTURE
