The Georgia Wine & Culture Explorer was inspired by a deep admiration for Georgia’s landscapes, heritage and the distinctive experiences found across its regions. Our aim was to create an immersive journey that balances cultural discovery with relaxed pacing, shaped by Georgian hospitality and a strong sense of local identity.
We were drawn to the architectural splendour of Tbilisi and Batumi, and wanted to showcase Georgia’s renowned winemaking tradition through private vineyard visits and tastings in Kakheti. Georgia’s historic role as a crossroads on the Silk Road between Europe and Central Asia is reflected in its layered culture, cuisine and traditions.
To complete the picture, we included Kazbegi National Park, where the Caucasus Mountains deliver unforgettable scenery and a powerful connection to Georgia’s wild nature. The result is a tour that weaves together ancient tradition, fine wine, dramatic landscapes and vibrant city life into one coherent, premium experience.
FLEXIBLE, WELL-PACED TOURING: Expect a flexible private journey that can adapt to weather, local conditions and new opportunities. Activities are easy to moderate, combining guided walks, cultural visits, markets and wine experiences, with optional more strenuous hikes in the Caucasus if you want them. The pace is comfortable and suitable for families, with built-in free time for personal exploration, shopping, cafés, or discovering lesser-known corners at your own pace.
ACCOMMODATION STANDARDS: Accommodation is carefully selected to match the character of each destination, ranging from boutique hotels to cosy lodges. You can expect comfort, authentic local cuisine and modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning where available. Locations are chosen for convenience, atmosphere and easy access to key sights, while still offering a restful base at the end of each day.
