Hotel Tibet International in the heart Kathmandu’s Buddhist district, is a blend of contemporary art and traditional Tibetan décor. It’s located within walking distance of a number of shrines and monasteries, including the Boudanath Stupa, a World Heritage site. Just a block or two away, we spent our mornings walking with the monks around the Stupa.
Hotel Tibet International has 68 rooms and suites. Each room is spaciously furnished with sitting area and enough windows to the surrounding snow-capped mountains. In the room, there is plenty of wardrobe space with dressing gowns to use and coffee making facilities. Modern amenities include air conditioning, flat screen tv and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels and bottled water supplied.
There are two restaurants and a bar/lounge at the Hotel Tibet International. There is also a coffee shop, a rooftop terrace, and a 24-hour business centre. Free Wi-Fi in public areas and free self-parking are also provided. The hotel has a spa and a small garden, ideal place to relax and unwind after a busy day. No visit would be complete without an evening walk to the nearby Stupa and meet with the monks and locals who visit to light butter lamps and make their offerings.

When to go Nepal like the rest of the Gangetic plains has four seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. The Spring (March to May) is good for treks when forests are full of rhododendrons in bloom. The heat wave runs through May until monsoon arrives in mid-June and stays until August. But in September, when the rains stop, the weather is balmy, the air is crip and the sky is clear; it is the perfect time to visit Nepal.
