Fullerton Bay Hotel

The Fullerton Bay is a modern colonial hotel, set on prime waterfront location in the Central Business District of Singapore. Fronted by a glimmering glass façade, the hotel's impressive 17-metre wide lobby joins onto the Clifford Pier, a heritage site that symbolises the arrival of thousands of Singapore's earlier settlers. The hotel is ideally located within a short walk from the glitzy shopping centres on Orchard Road and many of the city’s most-popular tourist attractions.

Designed by the renowned designer Andre Fu, each of the 98 rooms and suites are carefully crafted to recreate colonial heritage in a lush setting. Expect polished rosewood accents, latticed screens and natural palette, featuring the latest in-room technology and picture windows affording vistas of the vibrant city and bustling bay. Dining at The Fullerton Bay is an epicurean delight, with choices ranging from traditional, Western and modern French cuisines.

The Fullerton Bay hotel’s trendy rooftop Lantern bar and the 25-metre pool are ringed by lush tropical greenery and surrounded by the panoramic scenery of the harbour. In the surrounds, is the Chinatown Heritage Centre with a replica of 19th century Chinatown. Also, nearby is the National Museum of Singapore, the country's oldest museum and an architectural icon, or get to know the country’s vibrant Peranakan culture at the Peranakan Museum.

Stay The Fullerton Bay features 98 Rooms including 5 Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All have a classic design and an elegant decor using natural materials such as polished rosewood, leather and chrome. Each guestroom has a private sundeck or balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breath-taking views of Marina Bay, the waterfront, and the soaring Singapore skyline. The five spacious themed Suites are individually styled to match the city's cosmopolitan make-up.

ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at The Fullerton Bay but there are no specific facilities for children. The hotel provides free baby cots and extra beds for under-12s, who stay gratis with paying adults. Babysitting is available for SG$100 an hour, with a day's notice.

Dine The Fullerton Bay has three stunningly-designed restaurants and a rooftop bar. The swish and sexy Clifford serves traditional and Western classics while La Brasserie, with sweeping bay-views serves modern French cuisines with an exhaustive wine library. The Landing Point lounge has a majestic 13-metre long bar that serves mouth-watering comfort food and at dusk, head to Lantern, the 7th-floor rooftop lounge bar which serves up delicious cocktails and killer views of the bay.

Relax Facilities at the Fullerton Bay include a 25-metre swimming pool on the rooftop set next to the Lantern Bar, which is a relaxing spot in the day and has a vibrant atmosphere in the evenings, great cocktails and seductive lounging chairs. There is also a state of the art gym where each machine is integrated with individual TV sets - the gym's outdoor deck is a place where you can stretch and do yoga and pilates above the spectacular city skyline.

Experience Centrally located, The Fullerton Bay is within walking distance from Victoria Theatre, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, a delightful riverside development packed with bustling bars and restaurants, boutique shops and pumping nightclubs. While Singapore Art Museum and Chinatown are easily reached by a short taxi ride. Also, worth visiting is Gardens by the Bay a huge, colourful, futuristic park. One day, visit the Sentosa Island, home to golf, beach clubs and the Mega Adventure Park.

Location Located on Collyer Quay on the Marina Bay waterfront, between the Customs House and Clifford Pier. The Fullerton Bay is within walking distance to attractions including Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay, in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District.

Getting there Fly into Singapore's Changi Airport (12hr 45min international flight). From there you can either grab a taxi for the 25-minute ride to Marina Bay, or the hotel can arrange transfers.

When to go Any time’s a good time to go to Singapore. Practically on the equator, Singapore is constantly warm (the temperature never drops below 20°C) and humid and gets fairly steady year-round rainfall. The wettest months are supposedly November to January, when it’s also a degree or two cooler, while the driest are supposedly May to July, but in reality there is little distinction between the seasons.
