Welcome to Karachi, Pakistan’s bustling metropolis. Upon arrival take some time to settle in and get familiar with the city. You will find helpful information at your hotel or discuss with your guide who will assist you with planning your tailored travel options. If you arrive early you can visit some of Karachi’s historic landmarks. Visit Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of Pakistan’s founder, an architectural icon of the nation. Then visit Mohatta Palace, a grand museum showcasing Pakistan’s artistic and cultural heritage. These visits will give you a glimpse of Karachi’s deep rooted past. End the day with a well deserved rest at your hotel.

Today we will take an excursion from Karachi to Hyderabad and visit some of Pakistan's most important historical sites. Start in Thatta, home to the UNESCO listed Makli Necropolis, one of the largest funerary sites in the world, with monumental tombs. Then visit Chaukundi Tombs, famous for their sandstone carvings that provide an insight into Pakistan's early Islamic art. En route stop at Bhanbore, the ancient port where Islam first entered the subcontinent. After a full day, continue to Hyderabad for the night.

After breakfast we will drive from Hyderabad to Sehwan Sharif with a stop at Ranikot Fort, often called the “Great Wall of Sindh” due to its massive fortifications. In Sehwan Sharif you will visit the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, one of Pakistan’s most famous Sufi saints. This sacred site is famous for its spiritual atmosphere, Sufi traditions and centuries old history. The shrine attracts thousands of Muslims from across the region, especially during religious observances, who come to pay their respects and participate in rituals. Feel the mysticism that attracts thousands of devotees from all over the region. After a full day unwind and prepare for the next leg of your Pakistan historical tour.

Today, with your expert guide, travel to one of the world's most important archaeological sites—Mohenjodaro, a remarkably preserved city of the Indus Valley Civilisation (2500–1500 BC). Later visit Kot Diji Fort near Khairpur, an imposing historical stronghold with breath-taking views and insights into Pakistan's ancient defensive architecture. After a full day of historical wonders continue to Sukkur for the night.

Today will be a long but meaningful journey to Bahawalpur. On the way, we’ll stop at Uch Sharif, a small town known for its ancient Sufi shrines. These shrines are important for both their spiritual and architectural value and honour the memory of respected Sufi saints. Some special days linked to these shrines are considered optional holidays in Pakistan. Later, we’ll continue into the wide Cholistan Desert to see the impressive Derawar Fort, built in the 8th century. This huge fort rising from the desert sands is a striking reminder of Pakistan’s rich history. After a full day of exploration unwind in Bahawalpur and reflect on this historical and cultural tour.

Today we’ll drive from Bahawalpur to Multan, a city often called the “City of Shrines” because of its many Sufi tombs and sacred places. Here, we’ll visit the shrines of Bahauddin Zakariya and Shah Rukn-e-Alam – two of the most well-known Sufi sites in the city. These beautiful buildings are not only artistic wonders but also hold deep spiritual meaning, giving you a closer look at Pakistan’s Sufi traditions. Important Islamic holidays like Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha are celebrated here with special prayers and gatherings, showing how closely religion is tied to the city's culture and calendar. With its lively streets and deep-rooted traditions, Multan is a highlight of any historical tour of Pakistan.
