Kota Kinabalu to Kota Kinabalu – 8 Days
This enchanting 8-day journey begins in Kota Kinabalu, where travellers meet and bond with their group. The tour is a blend of cultural immersion and natural exploration, starting with a visit to the local communities of Tambatuon village and a hands-on cooking class using freshly picked ingredients. Travellers then embark on an adventure through Sabah's longest river, the Kinabatangan, where they stay in a jungle lodge and embark on river cruises to observe the region's rich wildlife.
As the journey continues, guests visit Sepilok, a sanctuary for the rehabilitation of orangutans and sun bears. The trip culminates with a visit to Pulau Libaran, known for its sea turtle conservation efforts. The tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with Borneo's vibrant culture, diverse ecosystems, and rare wildlife. KINABATANGAN RIVER CRUISES: A highlight of the tour is cruising through the Kinabatangan River. This experience allows guests to witness diverse wildlife, including proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, and exotic birds, in their natural habitat.
SEPILOK ORANGUTAN REHABILITATION CENTRE: The visit to this centre is a poignant and educational experience, offering insights into the lives of rescued orangutans and efforts to reintroduce them into the wild.
LIBARAN ISLAND TURTLE EXPERIENCE: This part of the trip focuses on sea turtle conservation. Guests can observe turtles in their natural environment and learn about conservation efforts, making it a memorable and impactful experience.

Today's journey from Kota Kinabalu takes you to the charming Tambatuon village. Here, you'll immerse yourself in local life with a walk to a nearby river and a visit to a local farm. This is where your Foodie Moment unfolds - a cooking class featuring local recipes with ingredients you gathered yourself. Your scenic drive in a private vehicle to Kundasang sets the tone for the day.

Embark on a journey towards Sandakan, continuing to a jungle lodge on the Kinabatangan River, Sabah's longest. After settling in, you'll enjoy an evening river cruise to spot wildlife, followed by dinner. For the more adventurous, there's an optional guided night walk through the jungle.

Start your day with a river safari, observing the morning wildlife activities. Travel by private vehicle to Sandakan, then by ferry to Libaran Island, famous for its sea turtles. Experience the Turtle Experience and a G for Good Moment: a village walk on Libaran Island, where you can learn about local crafts and cuisine.
