The way it is designed, actually looks great and very convenient to use. The black-out curtains are helpful, if you want to sleep in on a hot sunny day. The in-room amenities include Burasari toiletries and a free mini-bar which is restocked every day with soft drinks and other goodies.

We dined at the Terrace Restaurant on more than one occasion and found the food exceptional, the ambiance peaceful and romantic, and the service excellent. The Night Cap lounge at the Burasari Heritage has a billiard table and a selection of single malt whiskeys, aperitifs and imported cigars.
Relax Tucked away in the lush gardens is Spa Burasari. Overlooking the Nam Khan River, it offers a refined, skillful ancient healing techniques and modern body remedies. We started with a 15-min foot massage and scrub, and then moved on to a one-hour oil body massage. These were, by far, the best massages we had in Laos and very relaxing. They also serve delicious tea after the message.

The town’s bucolic streets, its’ multitude of ethnic textiles and crafts and its painstakingly preserved heritage buildings are an ode to its royal heritage, its French colonial legacy. For the adventurous, Burasari Heritage can arrange tour or hikes to waterfalls, butterfly farms, kayaking, rock climbing and emerald green rice fields surrounding the picturesque town.

Thereafter the temperature begins to rise and March to May gets very hot. The monsoon arrives in the month of April and peak in August but continues until mid-October. Travel is difficult during these months. Avoid travelling during March-April and August.
