Awakening in Dashoguz, you'll set out after breakfast towards the ancient glory of Kunya-Urgench, a UNESCO site that whispers tales of the Khorezmshah Empire through its majestic ruins. The dawn at Darvaza begins with breakfast before venturing deeper into the Karakum desert towards Damla. Arriving in Ashgabat, you're afforded the late afternoon and evening to explore this burgeoning capital, from its bustling streets to its monumental structures, before retiring to your hotel for the night.
Embarking eastward along the ancient Silk Road, the journey pauses at Bagabad, revealing the remnants of a Timurid citadel and the Seyit Jemaleddin mosque.
