Stay
Anantara Rasananda features just 64 Villas and Suites. These are grouped in seven different rooms types spread across the beach and gardens with mountain backdrop and range. All are spacious (between 80 to 200 sqm) and have a modern Thai décor with polished wooden floors, brightly coloured accents and comfortable seating along with the usual luxury hotel amenities; air conditioning, TV and DVD player, safe, mini-bar, coffee machine and sound system. The bathrooms are spotless and bright and villas have open-air showers.
ChildCare
Families with children are welcome to stay at the Anantara Rasananda. There are some interconnecting rooms but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting can be arranged, upon request.
Dine
There are three dining options at the Anantara Rasananda. Bistro at the Beach offers all day dining restaurant which offers crowd-pleasing menu of Thai and international dishes with an emphasis on home-cooked food. Yukinoya, the only Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant on the island serves premium sushi as well as imported meats and succulent seafood from the grill. For a relaxed casual dining atmosphere, grab a quick snack with a cocktail at the Brats & Brews bar.
Relax
The Anantara Spa at the Rasananda is located within a series of bungalows on rock outcrop overlooking Thong Nai Paan Bay. It offers a wide variety of body treatments and facials. You can take advantage of recreational amenities such as an attached winery, two outdoor swimming pools (one for children), gym and a sauna. Located on the highest point of the resort overlooking the bay with morning yoga classes and private lessons on request.
Experience
There is plenty to do at the Koh Phangan and Anantara Rasananda can arrange diving, snorkelling and kayaking as well as elephant and jungle treks. Many travellers go diving or snorkelling on beaches in Haad Salad and Haad Ya. You can even explore Ang Thong National Marine Park for a day of swimming and snorkelling. Alternatively, set aside a day to explore the many beautiful beaches on this beautiful island.

Location Anantara Rasananda is located on the beach in the north of Ko Phangan, close to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach.
Getting there The nearest international airport is Koh Samui Airport, a 30-minute speedboat ride from Koh Phangan. Your host will greet you at Koh Samui Airport and from there escort you to the beach facility in Bangrak for your journey to Phangan. The trip across the channel takes 30-minutes arriving right in front of Anantara Rasananda.
When to go Koh Phangan has a tropical climate and the best time to visit is from February to September, which is relatively dry but there is some rain every month. February to April are the driest months. October to January are wet with the monsoon coming from the northeast across the Gulf of Thailand.
