Anantara Mai Khao – Pool Villas in Phuket, Thailand

Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas is a luxurious resort, ideally located in northern Phuket on the secluded Mai Khao Beach. The resort comprises of 91 private pool villas scattered among verdant, Bill Bensley designed tropical gardens and beach front. Architecture is indigenous-luxe: slatted roofs, wooden beams, whitewashed walls hung with local artefacts. The resort has five dining options, a beachfront swimming pool, a luxurious spa and offers free use of non-motorised water sports.
 


Stay Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas features 91 spacious Pool Villas. Resembling a traditional southern Thai village, there are six villa types with one or three-bedroom villas either with lagoon or garden view. Each villa echoes southern Thai villages, with locally inspired architecture, complemented with indigenous garden setting. Inside, stylish interiors embrace contemporary Thai design, using local prints, textiles and paintings in relaxed lounge spaces. There's an outdoor rain shower, an external terrazzo bathtub, and a private pavilion with bar fridge and lounges.

ChildCare Families are well catered for at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. There is a Family Pool Villa, sleeping up to six with private pools and all the amenities including functional kitchens for daily requirements without even leaving your residence. Facilities include a Turtle Club for young explorers with activities such as arts and crafts, nature activities and games. The hotel supplies free baby cots while babysitting service can be arranged, upon request. 

Dine Guests have a choice of four dining options at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. La Sala evokes the feeling of a casual colonial-style club, with rattan chairs and set, potted palms and lily pads. It's the go-to spot for buffet breakfasts, followed by Italian and Thai all-day dining with local Phuket specialities. The Sea.Fire.Salt is a sophisticated beachside grill, where great seafood is cooked on hot salt bricks. While perched above the resort is the Tree House bar serving fine wines and cocktails.

Relax Facilities at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas include a beachfront swimming pool lined with shaded day-beds and the Infinity bar. Slip into a tranquil state of mind at the Anantara Spa with 6 luxurious treatment suites offering therapeutic spa treatments and healing alternative therapies. There are a full range of award-winning Elemis spa and aromatherapy products as well as an array of rich local herbs and plants. There is also a fully equipped gym and three tennis courts.

Experience Fringed by Sirinath National Park and tranquil Mai Khao Beach, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas offers non-motorised water sports such as sailing, kayaks and windsurfers. Take time to explore in style, with a luxury yacht cruise through the mysterious karsts of Phang Nga Bay or wander the viewpoints and waterfalls of the island's unseen hinterlands with a local guide. Location Anantara Phuket is situated on Mai Khao, Phuket’s longest beach, located on the northwest coast and fringed by the undisturbed jungle of Sirinath National Park.

Getting there 12-hour international flight (change in Bangkok) to Phuket International airport. Anantara Phuket is 15-minutes from the airport.

When to go Tropical climate and the driest months to visit are December to March. November and April are also good months to visit and you may get some rain, although it is outside of the monsoon season. May to October is the monsoon with downpours occurring once or twice a day, rather than constant rain.
