Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle is located in the Chiang Rai province of northern Thailand. Set amidst Thailand’s exotic bamboo jungles, the resort is accessible only by river boat. Scattered around these jungles are canvas-covered designer suites with wooden decks, large enough to host group dinners or cocktails.
There are just 15 tents at the Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle. All tents are spaced out for maximum privacy, stretching along the side of a forest-covered hill and connected via a bamboo-lined brick trail. Each tent is luxuriously complete with king-sized bed, a massive hand-hammered copper bathtub and an outdoor rain shower. Explorer's Lodge for families has two bedrooms comes with a spacious deck and outdoor pool.
The newly built Explorer's Lodge at the Four Seasons Tented Camp offers two bedrooms, spacious deck and outdoor pool, to relax and soak up the natural surroundings. All-inclusive three- or four-night adventures cover every detail, from all meals to excursions into the steamy rainforest and elephant training. There is an open-air spa just a short distance up the Ruak valley. In the evenings, The Burma Bar becomes a watering hole with nightly nature symphonies from the geckos, frogs and rare birds.
Stay Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle has only 15 tents. Deluxe Tents are located within the camp, Superior Tents are located along a hillside with entrance on ground level, while the Explorer’s Lodge comes with two airy bedrooms and a spacious deck, featuring an outdoor pool. All tents feature king-size bed, a full bathroom with an outdoor shower and a private deck, overlooking a river in Burma, mountains of Laos and the jungles of Thailand.

Dine Stay at the Four Seasons Tented Camp includes daily scheduled dining, sundowners, as well as minibar amenities. There is one restaurant that serves specialties from Thailand, Burma and Laos, or you can opt for Western-style delights. The Burma Bar is where you swap stories with fellow adventurers. Experience The Four Seasons Tented Camp is centred around providing an authentic experience of interacting with the elephants. Take Elephant Mahout Training to interact and get comfortable with these gentle giants in their own natural habitat. Then, embark on an exploration of the jungle wilderness, wherein you guide your elephant with your newly acquired skills! Guests are invited to join the mahouts as they bathe the elephants in the river or pond, getting them ready for trekking.

Getting There There are direct (11-hour) international flights from the UK to the Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport.
When to go The best time to visit most of Thailand is between November and March as this is the coolest time of year. March-Jun brings the hot season when sightseeing is best scheduled for morning or late afternoon. May, September and October are the wettest months and between June and August, you can still visit Bangkok although you will get some rain. During this time, there are fewer tourists and the landscape is lush and green.
