Areindmar Hotel is a charming boutique hotel, set on the main Kayay Street in the New Bagan Area. Initially built to house the travelling guides, the hotel has been recently refurbished into a delightful property, offering a comfortable stay and good value. Set within a lush forest just south of the temples and within a 15-minute drive from Nyaung Oo Airport, this peaceful refuge makes for a perfect base from which to explore this ancient city.

Accommodation at the Areindmar Hotel comprises of just 50 rooms arranged on two levels around the central courtyard. All are individually decorated in traditional style with hardwood floors and hand-crafted furniture. Rooms are minimalist in décor and come with a sitting area, writing desk and modern amenities such as minibar, LCD television with satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi. Private bathrooms with showers feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

There is an in-house restaurant serving a fusion of traditional, European, Thai and Chinese cuisines. Meals are served in the shaded open-air terrace next to the pool or you can request for room service. The courtyard pool is particularly inviting after a long day exploring or when you need a refreshing break from the midday heat, and there is a poolside bar to keep you hydrated. The hotel has complimentary bikes that you can use to explore the surrounds.

Areindmar Hotel features just 50 deluxe rooms. All are simply and individually decorated in traditional style with polished wooden floors, hardwood furniture, a spacious living area and large open bathroom complete with modern amenities. All of the rooms open onto either the leafy landscaped courtyard, lotus filled ponds or green lawn dotted with tropical plants. Amenities include air-con, satellite TV, in-room safe, Wi-Fi and tea/coffee facilities.

Families with children are welcome to stay at the Areindmar Hotel but there are no specific facilities available for children. No additional room charge for children under (10) years of age sharing the same bed with parents and limited to one child per room with free breakfast. In case of a second child, an extra bed charge will be added on.

Located near the lobby, the in-house restaurant at the Areindmar Hotel serves all meals overlooking the courtyard and pool. The seasonal menu comprises of local, European, Thai and Chinese cuisines and is prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Meals are served in the dining room or al fresco on the pool terrace, adjacent to the Poolside Bar which provides a perfect spot to watch the sunset over Bagan. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

There is plenty of spaces in the hotel and its lawns to relax with a book.
