Tanjong Jara Resort, is located on the pristine East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, facing a crescent-shaped beach shaded by tall palms. Designed to reflect the elegance of 17th century Malay palaces and based on the Malay concept of Sucimurni, which emphasises purity of spirit, health and well-being, this secluded hideaway, encourages true rejuvenation of both body and spirit. It has won the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

Both categories can be upgraded to sea view rooms, from which you can enjoy idyllic ocean views. The semi-detached single-storey Anjung Rooms facing the beachfront are perfect should you require a little extra space.
There are three restaurants at Tanjong Jara Resort, including Di Atas Sungai, with lovely river views. There is no menu here but Menu Masters, help to create incredible dishes. Other restaurants include Teratai Terrace for lunch and Nelayan by the beach. The award-wining Spa Village at Tanjong Jara is considered the second-best spa in the world. The surrounds are known for snorkelling and diving and the nearby Tengoll Island is part of the fabulous Terengganu Marine Park.
