The Ritz Carlton Langkawi is a luxurious beach resort, located on the west coast of the Langkawi island, Malaysia. Accommodation at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi comprises of 90 rooms and suites, and 29 pool villas. The rooms are a spacious 75sqm, and the suites start at a generous 100sqm. Many of the villas have either sea views or direct access to the beach and some have two- to three-bedrooms, perfect for families or group of friends. There are plenty of dining options serving a range of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines, as well as an adults-only open-air lounge, to enjoy wine or cocktails.
Three large swimming pools ensure there is space for everyone to relax or indulge in the gorgeous overwater spa. The Ritz Carlton Langkawi also has a number of complimentary in-resort activities, including yoga and mocktail mixology classes. For younger guests, there is a good Ritz Kids Club and exciting activities such as treasure hunts. For adventure seekers there are mangrove tours, a cable car and zip-line trail, and colourful night markets, all within 10-15 mins driving distance.

Location The 99 islands of the Langkawi archipelago lie some 20 miles off the northwest coast of Malaysia, in the Andaman Sea.
Getting there Flying time to Langkawi is 55-minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, 30-minutes from Penang Airport, and approximately 90-minutes from Singapore Changi International Airport. The Ritz Carlton Langkawi is only 10 minutes by road from the airport.
When to go Langkawi has a coastal tropical climate year round, with temperatures ranging from 23°C in the early parts of the year to 34°C towards the end of the year. The wet monsoon season is from April to October making the best time to visit from November to March. The rain starts falling the whole month of June. If you are wary of crowd the try to avoid the Malaysian school holidays as the island becomes very busy during these periods.
