Location Indonesia

Getting there All expeditions require a short domestic flights from Bali to some of the smaller outlying islands in the Indonesian Archipelago. As a general rule, due to flight times, you will need to spend a few nights either side of the expedition in Bali. For the Raja Ampat expeditions, fly from Bali to Sorong. For Komodo Island expeditions, fly from Bali to Labuan Bajo.

When to go Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. Given the different climates throughout the archipelago, the vessel is able to operate different expeditions at different times of year. The high season in this region runs from November through April.
