Exquisitely appointed with Asian-accented European furnishings, all rooms and suites feature all the mod-cons and offer magnificent views of the Peak or Victoria Harbour. Guests who like access to the excellent Horizon Club can upgrade to Horizon Club rooms located between the 52nd and 55th floors. The Suites range in size, views and layout but provide ample space and luxurious touches for the discerning traveller.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Island Shangri-La but there are no specific facilities available for children. However, children will enjoy the hotel's pool and all of the fun activities Hong Kong has to offer including its very own Disneyland. Babysitting service can be arranged on request.
Dine The Island Shangri-La offers a kaleidoscope of dining options in its 8 restaurants. Experience kaiseki cuisine at the famous Nadaman restaurant, the first outside Japan, the exquisite French cuisine at the Restaurant Petrus or Cantonese cuisine at the Michelin-starred Summer Palace. For international cuisine hit the innovative cafe TOO with eight cooking theatres, each featuring a different culinary style. There is also Lobster Bar and Grill and Waterside Terrace ideal for Thai favourites.

Experience The Island Shangri-La hotel is part of the Pacific Place mall complex, which sits on top of Admiralty MTR station, one stop from Central. Guests can take the Central Mid-Levels escalator and head up the hill to visit Hollywood Road, known for its art galleries and antique shops. Later, take the 120-year-old funicular railway up Victoria Peak. Also visit Ocean Park, home to resident giant pandas and a ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon to visit the Museum of History and the Science Museum.

Getting there 12-hour international flight to Hong Kong International Airport. Island Shangri La is a 45-minute drive from the airport.
When to go Hong Kong has a tropical climate and can be visited year round. October to April are the driest months although December to February are cooler. May to September is hot and humid with the most rainfall during these months.
