Heritage Suites hotel is a beautiful small boutique heritage hotel in Siem Reap, close to the Angkor temples. Located on a quiet residential street and near the Angkor museum, it’s well placed for soaking up the highlights of Siem Reap. The charming colonial-era façade is a throwback to the bygone glamour of the French days but once inside Heritage Suites conceals a collection of intimate boutique bungalows set amid a lush tropical garden.
The Heritage Suites Hotel features just 20 suites and spacious six rooms. All suites have a small tranquil garden, some with outdoor showers and Jacuzzis. Flowing white curtains cleverly divide the living and bedroom areas; the latter with a 'half-egg' bathtub and an outdoor shower shielded by a wall and tall bamboo for complete privacy. There are three bathing options to choose from depending on your mood!
The main restaurant serves Khmer and Western cuisine and the bar has an extensive selection of international wines. Dining is both indoors and al fresco by the pool with romantically lit lanterns. There is a saltwater swimming pool with a small bar serving light meals. The hotel also boasts a stunning spa which uses natural organic local products.

Experience The little town of Siem Reap is the traveller’s base to explore the fabled ruins of Angkor Wat. But the cultural capital which has thrived on tourism for so long, has become an important town in its own right and interesting to explore. Guided tours can be arranged by Heritage Suites to Artisans D'Angkor workshops at the National Silk Centre where you learn about Khmer silk. Then visit the FCC arcade for embroidered silk couture at the Jasmine Boutique, or maybe explore Psar Chaa — the Old Market.

Getting there There are no direct flights to Cambodia from the UK, but good connections are available from major Asian destinations. You can fly with Thai Airways to Bangkok and from there fly either to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap on a one-hour flight. Heritage Suites Hotel is 15-minute drive from Siem Reap airport.
When to go Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April. In May and June the southwestern monsoon brings rain that lasts until October but it rarely rains all day. Although, this is a low season for tourism, it has its own advantages. It is when the Angkor complex is at its most beautiful, the vegetation is lush, the moats for full of water and there are less tourists so you can explore the temples in peace.
