Park Hyatt Siem Reap is a luxury five-star hotel, situated in the heart of Siem Reap, Northwestern Cambodia. Modern and Art Deco in style, this iconic mid-20th-century revamped Khmer property feels perfectly right – its gleaming white exterior and style is a nod to the area's colonial past. Situated in the heart of Siem Reap, it’s within walking distance of the city’s shopping and nightlife and minutes away from the renowned twelfth century ruins of Angkor.
Set around an inner courtyard with lush gardens and water features, Park Hyatt Siem Reap offers 104 rooms and suites. All are equally colourful and sunny, and the marble bathrooms have excellent water pressure, an important amenity in always hot-and-steamy Siem Reap. Those opting for suites can expect oversized soaking tubs, khmer-inspired swimming pool and water garden as well as dedicated spa areas and private roof gardens.
Start your culinary tour at Park Hyatt Siem Reap’s Dining Room, which serves authentic Khmer dishes like roasted duck breast in lotus ragout and quail consommé with morel-tamarind dumplings. For relaxation there is an incredible indoor/outdoor pool surrounded by grand columns and shady alcoves and an excellent spa. When you can peel off from its loungers, ask the concierge to arrange a private tour and marvel at the sprawling complex of temples at the Angkor Archaeological Park.

When to go Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.
