DAY 1

Bangkok

Touchdown in Bangkok at any time that suits you. A warm welcome and transfer to your accommodation awaits upon your arrival.

DAY 2

Kanchanaburi

Start the day with breakfast before embarking on a journey to the town of Kanchanaburi, nestled at the junction of the Khwae Noi and Khwae Yai Rivers. Experience a significant slice of WWII history as you take a ride on a train that crosses the iconic bridge, immortalised by the film, The Bridge on the River Kwai. Later, visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre for a deep dive into the history of the Burma Railway, built by the Japanese military during World War II. Pay your respects at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the final resting place of the Prisoners of War who toiled on the railway.

DAY 3

PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA

Morning sees you heading towards Erawan National Park's verdant landscapes. Enjoy a dip in the ethereal turquoise pools of Erawan Falls, named for their resemblance to the mythical three-headed elephant, Erawan. In the afternoon, transfer to the historical city of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, once the thriving capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya or Siam. Savour traditional Thai cuisine during dinner aboard a converted rice barge from the 1930s.

DAY 4

Chiang Mai

Walk along the ruins of palaces and Buddhist monasteries that set the standard for Thai architecture. Later, head back to Bangkok for your flight to Chiang Mai. DAY 7

Bangkok

Fly back to Bangkok and board a traditional klong boat to cruise along the city's intricate canal network, aptly earning Bangkok the moniker Venice of the East. Pass by vibrant temples, towering skyscrapers, and houses poised over the water. Visit Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's most significant temple complexes and often dubbed Thailand's first public university. Marvel at the grandeur of the Reclining Buddha, adorned with gold leaf and intricate mother-of-pearl inlays.

Bangkok

Experience a free day in bustling Bangkok. You may choose to visit the dazzling Grand Palace, once the official residence of the Thai royal family, a prime example of the nation's architectural and artistic genius. Right next to it is Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, a potent religio-political symbol and the palladium of Thai society. Also, you can browse the stunning collections of Thai art and artefacts at the Bangkok National Museum, or you can hop on a bike to explore the quieter side of the city, pedalling past hidden temples and lush parks. DAY 9

KO SAMUI

Start your day by transferring to the airport in Bangkok to catch a flight to the tropical island of Ko Samui. This island is renowned for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves, and mountainous rainforest. After settling into your hotel, you can enjoy a free afternoon to relax by the pool, stroll along a white-sand beach, or explore the local village, absorbing the easy-going vibes of island life.

DAY 10

KO SAMUI

After breakfast, prepare for a day of adventure as you board a traditional longtail boat and travel off the tourist trail to the pristine islands of Ko Mat Sum and Ko Taen. Enjoy a delicious local lunch on the beach, then choose to explore by kayak or snorkel. You could experience the tropical biodiversity as you glide past the cliffs and tranquil lagoons, or don your snorkelling gear to explore the colourful coral reefs and their rich marine life.

DAY 11

KHAO SOK

Bid farewell to the island as you catch the ferry back to the mainland and drive to Kao Thep Pitak, a community-owned farm supported by G Adventures. Here, you can savour a lunch of local specialties and stroll through the surrounding fruit orchards. Afterward, continue to the stunning Khao Sok National Park, home to diverse wildlife and unique limestone karst scenery. Spend the evening exploring the rainforest on a guided nighttime walk, then gather for a campfire dinner, surrounded by the calming sounds of the jungle.

DAY 12

KHAO SOK

Dedicate a day to the exploration of Khao Sok National Park, southern Thailand’s largest rainforest reserve. You have the freedom to choose between a variety of optional jungle activities. Set off on a hike in search of monkeys and tropical birds, enjoy a peaceful canoe ride down the Sok River, or embark on a cycling tour along the park’s winding trails. Each of these options will provide you with an opportunity to experience Thailand’s unique flora and fauna. DAY 13

Krabi

Krabi
