Inside, are comfortable double or twin-beds and colonial elegance in the dark-wood furnishings and flooring, with elephant motifs aplenty. Each tent features handmade furniture using natural materials, fan, kettle, and a luxurious bathroom with toilet as well as solar & wind powered hot/cold shower.

ChildCare

Although families with children are welcome to stay at the Elephant Hills Tented Camp, guest should note that the resort does not recommend children younger than 4 years of age to participate in water-based activities such as canoeing. Also, the floating Rainforest Camp does not accept children younger than 7 years old. There is no babysitting service available.

Dine

The in-house restaurant at the Elephant Hills Tented Camp serves freshly-cooked traditional Thai cuisine. All stays at Elephant Hills are full-board and meals are served in the central open-air restaurant around a communal table. There is also a well-stocked bar which serves reasonably priced drinks and smoothies.

Relax

There is a fabulous palm-fringed swimming pool at the Elephant Hills Tented Camp, while guests at the Rainforest Camp can jump off straight from their private deck into the Cheow Lan Lake. Every tent has an open space to relax or a front porch with a pair of hammocks. In the surrounds are ample spaces to relax or take leisurely walks.

Experience

The main lure of staying at the Elephant Hills Tented Camp is to take the elephant experience. Guests will learn all about the habitat and habits of the elephants, as well as their conservation. A wide variety of activities are included such as a Mahout experience which offers the wonderful opportunity to feed and wash the elephants, as well as jungle trekking, a canoe ride on the Sok River for the more active, or cruising and kayaking on the lake.
