Banyan Tree Samui is a luxury resort, set on the south-east coast of Koh Samui island, that lies in the Gulf of Thailand. Location Located on the hillside overlooking Lamai Bay on the southeast coast of Koh Samui.
Getting there 11-hour flight to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport followed by a 1-hour flight to Koh Samui. From here it is just a 20-minute drive to Banyan Tree Samui.
When to go Koh Samui has a tropical climate and the best time to visit is from February to September, which is relatively dry but there is some rain every month. February to April are the driest months. October to January are wet with the monsoon coming from the northeast across the Gulf of Thailand.
