The Hintok River Camp is a rustic tented camp, set along the Khwae Noi River in the Kanchanaburi Province, Western Thailand. It’s located close to Hellfire Pass, named for the many torches that lit the narrow canyon at night for POWs workers to carve out a railway track through rocks during World War II. Also, nearby is the 'Bridge over the River Kwai', that makes it an ideal base for learning about the tragic history of the area, as well as to admire the beautiful countryside.
The Floathouse River Kwai Resort is a unique floating hotel, set on the River Kwai in the Kanchanaburi, in west Thailand. Given its rather extraordinary location, the hotel can only be accessed by a short boat ride. There are 30 floating villas, each made from teakwood with thatched roofs.
