Lahore
Arrive in Lahore and transfer to your hotel where you'll join the rest of the group. After settling in, you'll have the option to explore Lahore's spiritual side with an evening visit to the local shrines. Here, you can witness the mesmerising Sufi mystics performing their traditional whirling dance to the rhythmic beats of the Dohl drum. It is an experience that offers a unique insight into the rich spiritual heritage of the region. Once the night ends, you'll return to the hotel for a restful sleep to prepare for the days ahead.

Lahore
You have a full day dedicated to exploring Lahore, starting with the narrow, bustling alleyways of the old city. Your visit will include the majestic Badshahi Mosque, the largest medieval mosque in the world, where the grandeur of Mughal architecture is truly impressive. You will also take in the beauty of the intricately decorated Wazir Khan Mosque. Additionally, a visit to the Lahore Museum will give you a deeper understanding of the city’s rich history. Lahore
Continue your exploration of Lahore and its surroundings. In the afternoon, you’ll head out of the city to the Wagah Border, where you’ll witness the iconic daily flag-lowering ceremony between India and Pakistan. This dramatic event draws large crowds, with both countries’ border guards engaging in a ceremonial display of precision and rivalry. The electrifying atmosphere will give you a sense of the historical tension and camaraderie between these two nations. After the event, you will return to your hotel in Lahore for your overnight stay.

DAY 4
Peshawar
This will be a long but rewarding travel day. You’ll depart Lahore and drive towards Peshawar, stopping en route to visit the impressive Rohtas Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century, this vast fort stands as a testament to early Muslim military architecture in South Asia. With its imposing walls stretching over four kilometres and its 68 bastions and 12 monumental gateways, Rohtas Fort is an unforgettable sight. After exploring the fort, you’ll continue your journey to Peshawar. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel for the night.

DAY 5
Peshawar
Spend a full day discovering Peshawar, a city that has long served as a gateway between the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia. As you wander through the old city, you’ll notice the diverse mix of cultures and faces that make this region so unique. Pashtun, Hazara, Tajik, Chitrali, and Uzbek communities all converge here, and the vibrant bazaars offer a sensory overload of sights and smells. Throughout the day, you’ll get to experience traditional life in Peshawar, sipping on cups of Qawa, the city’s famed cardamom-flavoured green tea. Overnight in Peshawar.

Islamabad
Today’s journey takes you to two of Pakistan’s most renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Takht e Bhai and Taxila. These ancient ruins date back to the Ghandaran period, a time when the region was ruled as a Greco-Buddhist kingdom. At both sites, you’ll see an intriguing fusion of Buddhist and Greek art and architecture, a legacy of the region’s historical importance as a cultural crossroads following the conquests of Alexander the Great. This blend of eastern and western influences makes these sites a fascinating glimpse into ancient history. After the visits, head back to Islamabad.

Islamabad - Departure
After a week of adventure, your tour comes to an end in Islamabad. The majestic Badshahi Mosque and the awe-inspiring Lahore Fort exemplify the splendour of the Mughal era, while the narrow alleyways of the old city reveal a vibrant living history.
Additionally, the ancient sites of Taxila and Takht e Bhai, with their unique fusion of Greco-Buddhist art, highlight Pakistan's role as a crossroads of civilisations. The dynamic cultural exchanges evident in these locations inspired us to design a tour that not only showcases historical landmarks but also allows travellers to experience the living traditions of the region. By including experiences like the Wagah border ceremony and Sufi rituals, we aim to offer a truly immersive exploration of Pakistan’s heritage.
